A unique nursery in the heart of Brighton.
ToyBox was created in 2006 by Brighton Women’s Centre. It was set up to provide affordable childcare for women that were most in need.
Over the years, it has developed into a childcare provision which is also outside of the services that BWC provide, but still with the same core values. ToyBox’s most important ethos is to provide child support for the mothers in Brighton who require it the most.
We work alongside a multitude of charities in order to support women accessing the help they need. With Brighton Women's Centre being at the heart of our setting, we are able to give the child and parent/caregiver the wrap-around care package they may need. The most important attribute to this ethos is communication. ToyBox puts communication and the centre of everything they do.
Our service prides itself with the ethos of ‘every child has a right to feel safe’. We were awarded 'Outstanding’ in our latest Ofsted report
Making the most of our excellent location.
ToyBox Day Nursery is an exciting and unique setting, situated in a beautiful Edwardian building in the heart of Brighton.
Located near St Peter’s church, we are completely central and able to access regular trips to the Brighton Library, The Pavilion and the beach. We value our city and believe it provides some of the most holistic learning opportunities.
We take the children out as much as possible to provide a good quality of education and build essential knowledge, enabling the best possible start in early education.
